Open Document Format (ODF) is a standard for recording office business documents, including word processors, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, etc.
The specification was developed by Oasis and ODF is currently the standard Open Office document format supported by Microsoft tools. The standard is based on XML as a record format and ZIP as a storage format.
