ITIL is a set of detailed practices for IT service management.
ITIL describes processes, procedures, tasks and checklists that are not related to a particular organization or technology, but on the basis of which the organization can plan, implement and measure the level of conformity and progress.
Although ITIL provides the basis for ISO 20000, there are differences between the two standards
