The user box is one of the fundamental common elements of the e-Citizens portal. The basic function of the user mailbox is to receive messages and documents sent by institutions - public administration bodies.
The system for receiving messages has the function of formal and security control of messages received from service providers and the forwarding of messages to the user mailbox (KP). The service provider who wants to send a message to the user's inbox, before starting to send messages, must request registration in the system for receiving messages as well as registration in the user's inbox.
The service provider creates a message from its business processes that it wants to send to the user's inbox. In doing so, the institution creates a message according to the agreed scheme prescribed by the System for receiving messages.
