Application of an electronic signature in accordance with the eIDAS regulation in ISO 32000-1 (PDF)
PAdES (PDF Advanced Electronic Signatures) is a set of restrictions and extensions to PDF and ISO 32000-1 making it suitable for advanced electronic signatures (AdES). This is published by ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) as EN 319 142. It is applied when signing PDF documents.
