Regulation (EU) 2018/1724 establishes a single digital gateway in Europe for online administrative processes. This Regulation creates requirements for all EU member states to enable the automated exchange of evidence in 21 specific cases. The aim of the Regulation is to help EU citizens and businesses in cross-border situations and to improve the functioning of the EU internal market. In practice, this will be achieved by providing citizens and businesses with easy access to the information, procedures and assistance and problem-solving services they need to exercise their rights in the EU's internal market. The regulation establishes an interactive, easy-to-use digital gateway that guides users to the services they need.
This Projectathon in June 2023 prepared several test cases:
5 scenarios of exchange of evidence without examination,
5 scenarios of exchange of evidence with an overview,
2 maintenance flow scenarios (shared service updates).
Croatia actively participated in the testing thanks to the technical solution developed completely independently by the Central State Office for the Development of the Digital Society. Croatia successfully completed 5 test cases, i.e. all that could be completed with the developed technical solution.
In conclusion, Croatia achieved significant success during this Projectathon, solving half of the given scenarios. This proves our technical readiness for further advances in the implementation of the Once-Only system. This event was a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with colleagues from other member countries.
