XML is an abbreviation for EXtensible Markup Language - that is, an adaptable language for marking data. The idea was to create a single language that would be easily readable by both humans and computer programs.
The implementation principle is very simple: the appropriate content should be framed with appropriate labels that describe it and have a known or easily understandable meaning. The format of tags in XML is very similar to the format of tags in, for example, the HTML language. Today, the XML language is very widespread and is used for a variety of purposes: separating data from presentation, exchanging data, storing data, increasing data availability, and creating new specialized markup languages.
