The meta-register is a public register, an integral part of the Central Interoperability System (SSI) https://ssi.gov.hr, which forms part of the state information infrastructure and serves to manage the system of public registers. Metaregistry creates the prerequisites for the realization of complete inter-institutional services and the development and support of the connection of complex electronic services, i.e. the connection of IT systems and the exchange of data in public administration. It contains detailed information about public registers (data collections), and information about them is available to users in one place.
Through Metaregistar, an overview of the established public registers, the types of data collected and the method of connection with other systems is available, while taking into account compliance with current regulations on personal data protection, data confidentiality and the right to access information.
Access
Data in the Metaregistry is available to anonymous and identified users, with the fact that anonymous users have the right to access only publicly available data.
Bodies/institutions/agencies that are in the role of head of registers appoint and authorize officials who, in the role of body administrator, will update and take care of the accuracy of data in the data collection (public registers, registers, records, registers, etc.) within the jurisdiction of that body.
Based on the Law on State Information Infrastructure, all public sector bodies are required to enter and update data on public registers within their jurisdiction.
The head of the Metaregistry is the Central State Office for the Development of the Digital Society
